Happy March to your beautiful heart, Reader :)
It’s been 2 months since I’ve officially sent out a newsletter, and I’ve been spending my energy reflecting on what messages and information I want to be sending out into the world and how I want to be creating those messages.
It turns out that the messages I want to share aren’t much different than what I’ve been doing, but how I’m sharing needs to change. I really want to work more with my hands when I’m not leading a yoga session or working with people, and I’m super into all the 90s nostalgia in our orbit.
In the 90s, I was a teen and angsty and confused about the world and life, and I loved Delia’s catalogs and zines among many other things. So I want to live in that energy for a while.
My plan is to share a monthly Zenful Zine that has yet to be fully discovered and formed, and I send forth today the framework in its rawness and colorful bare bones rather than waiting until it's a fuller and near final version. This has been a real experiment for me internally, and the action of taking markers in my hands for what you see here, and scissors and glue for some things yet to come, has revived this lovely creative and curious energy within me. What an adventure I’m having!
In the PDF (linked below), you’ll see a calendar handmade by yours truly with events, lunar and astrological dates of import, and some heartfelt mindful reminders. Feel free to print it out. Post it up. Keep it handy.
On the pages that follow, you’ll find a letter that encapsulates the vibes for this seasonal transition we’re in, and what energy I think we could all use a little more of. The first copy is the handwritten original, flubs and all, and the second is typed for those that find that easier to connect with.
